Online Databases

Working closely with the Emmaus WA communities, Graeme has been working on an online data-basing tool designed for contact management. This project has been an opportunity for Logical Developments to develop an online system that enables non-centralised Fourth Day communities to communicate, coordinate and document they necessary steps, people and plans that are required to organise and run a three day retreat. This is a great way to step from pen and paper, enabling a smooth transition to online collaborative work.

The online database allows multiple users to view and edit contact details for team members and participants. It also allows for coordinating:

  • Prayer vigils
  • Team selection
  • Users are enabled to compare prospective team members against the relative selection criteria for each specific role to be filled.
  • Newsletter send out
  • Post-Retreat gatherings
