At Logical Development, we've been committed to creating software solutions inspired by their real-world needs. In our early days, each solution was standalone, but we soon realized they shared commonalities, like capturing contact information. As we evolved, we built better interfaces, but our customers still struggled with a familiar problem.

The LD Modular System is exactly as it sounds: a comprehensive group of software components available for you to choose from, based on the information you need to capture for your business. Think of the possibilities! To get the thought processes started, here is a brief introduction to the modules of the LD Modular System:
Specialised and/or Industry Specific:
- Payroll: an ATO STP II accredited payroll package. Extensive reports and utilities to make your payday as simple as it can be. Includes a leave booking system where the computer does the math and you can see at a glance where your employees were in a particular pay period.
- ConNote: complete freight management from quotes, pickups, transport and delivery, through to invoicing. Includes fleet management and mobile components for your drivers to interface directly with the system. Know both where your drivers & trucks and all items of freight are at a given moment.
- Compliance: mobile app designed to facilitate your employee’s adherence to local governments and industry regulations.
- Maintenance: to track licenses and maintenance schedules for your mobile assets such as vehicles (large & small) and trailers.
- Storage: for the logistics of caring for other organisations stock
- Scrap: a point-of-purchases system for the scrap metal industry, handling the specialised regulations of the industry.
- Bookings: a booking system for your resources. Hire busses, do driver training, or? Nominate your resource and booking time slot and start taking bookings. Increase accuracy and efficiency with the ability to create extended or recurring bookings in a single entry.
Foundation and/or General Purpose:
- Contacts: the contact manager. Customers, Suppliers, Employees and/or classifications of your choosing. Load up a contact and relevant information from the other modules, for example, sales history, will be there on display.
- Cash: for cash-based accounting for not-for-profit or small business. Is auditable. Full BAS functions.
- Accounting: teams up with the Cash module to provide accrual-based accounting.
- Products: inventory management. Similar to Contacts, load up a product and see the relevant information from the other module, for example, purchase and sales history.
- Invoices: for charging your customers. Choose what header & line-items information is important for you.
- Purchases: for generation of purchase orders.
- Payables: for entry of supplier invoices. Using the Purchase module? When you tell the system an order (or part there-of) is received, it will create the supplier invoice for you.
- Receivables: for customer statements and aged reports
- Assets: From commodities like shares through to vehicles & equipment Assets is an asset register designed to house all information and transactions pertaining to your assets.
- Broker: the conductor of the system. The Broker unifies the modules and drives security. Also allowing for special handling. For example, you may have a Custom module with your invoice layout. The Broker ensures the custom layout has priority over the standard format of the Invoice module.
- Core Manager: the resource centre for the system, including email functions and scheduling system for reports.
